Cacti not graphing properly but Zenoss is?

That 'Poller Output Table not Empty' error is a big issue. Do you have custom scripts running that aren't finishing in a timely manor?
Stick with the cmd.php poller until you've solved the problems.
With the cacti logging level set to medium, let it run a few cycles. Are devices going down, data not getting returned from queries, other errors ? The cacti log will contain the reasons why you have 'choppy' graphs.

The log doesn't show anything timing out, while set on medium it shows data gathering and no errors. The only error I get is the Poller Output table error I listed to you.BSOD2600 wrote:That 'Poller Output Table not Empty' error is a big issue. It should be in the \cacti\cli\ folder. If not, I strongly question your methods of upgrading cacti which could be an underlying problem. That missing file is not the cause of your issues since it's only meant to be run manually.
The cacti log file shows that devices are always up and returning data -- even when there are gaps in the graphs?

I followed the upgrade instructions to the letter. However it seems I can't search for files all that well..haha, found that under cacti/cli like you mentioned. However trying to run it giver me:
[root@monitor cli]# php poller_output_empty.php
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.0
Content-type: text/html
[root@monitor cli]# php poller_output_empty.php --help
X-Powered-By: PHP/5.2.0
Content-type: text/html
Could this be telling us something, it's like php isn't running the script properly.
Thanks again for all your help BSOD.

So that problem with the graphs not generating properly seems to be fixed. Increased the number of concurrent poller processes from 1 -> 6 and it split the device load from 188 -> 32 per process. It's able to finish running and graphs are generating. Now onto another problem I'll create a new thread for it as this title isn't correct.
Thanks for everyone's help.
