Answers either...this is what I get:

[cactiuser@xhost ~]$ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.59.33.175 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0
SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Galaxy 3000 20 kVA
[cactiuser@xhost ~]$ snmpwalk -c public -v 1 10.59.33.175 .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (718652611) 83 days, 4:15:26.11

Finally I found others with the same issues... =)

I'm monitoring several routers, switches and UPS devices. I upgraded from 0.8.6->0.8.7b and suddenly I got NaN in the graphs for the PowerWare 9305 UPS devices. I was working fine before the version upgrade. All other graphs are working just fine.

When turning on debugging to cacti.log, I see the following regarding the UPS:

12/11/2008 09:30:09 PM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[167] SNMP Result: Host did not respond to SNMP

But it sure does if I look under device management:

UPS EDC1 40kW (ups40kw)
SNMP Information
System: ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Card V3.03
Uptime: 1757616298 (203 days, 10 hours, 16 minutes)
Hostname: ConnectUPS Web/SNMP Card
Location:
Contact:

I will look forward to a solution on this weird issue.

Sincerely,
Morten Gade Sørensen

This is always a SNMP V1 device or a V2c? In the latter case, snmpbulkwalk may introduce problems.
A solution would be to use a network sniffer (aka wireshark) to capture both cacti and your cli snmpwalk to find any difference

The UPS management card only talks SNMP v1.

Sorry, no clue, then. Personally, I'd start a wireshark trace then to see what's going on
