cacti stop polling/generating graphs for new host

Since the orginal 0.8.7a spine has buffer flow issue now, I tried the nightly source spine with comma being removed (although there was a :Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result issue with it)

I seem to be having the same issue. I noticed that in the logs that peppermint posted, the host had 'no availability detection' selected. I tried the same and received the same behavior. I have another thread I started a week ago which i think is related to this one (moderators: merge threads maybe?)

Was this issue ever resolved?

My suspciion is that Spine REQUIRES SNMP to always be turned on, Using ICMP only or 'NO availability checking' will trigger this behavior.

I have yet another firewall request submitted to allow SNMP to pass through.... I'll post the results in a few days..
