I'm having the same problem on:
---
FreeBSD 6.3-PRERELEASE
cacti-0.8.6j.4_2
apache+mod_ssl-1.3.39+2.8.30
net-snmp-5.3.1_7
php5-5.2.5
php5-mysql-5.2.5
php5-pcre-5.2.5
php5-snmp-5.2.5
---

When I try to do a 'apachectl graceful' everything seems to work fine. Then after quite some time, when I try to reload the query I get: [0 items, 0 rows] regardless if I'm querying a win/linux machine.

Anything to do with apache/php/php.ini?

Anyone ever seen the same scenario?

I was having the same problem. I'm using the following script:

http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... highlight=

It at least recognizes my processors, however the graphs do not work yet.
