I am so struggling now. I have followed your installation guide (install under windows on the IIS part) but it still unable to load the page. I have re-installed the iis again and now even my mrtg page also unable to display. It displays the error msg. pls refer to the attached file.
It suppose to be an easy task to install the cacti with your 1.5 installer, I am not sure why I am facing such issue.
Appreciate your help again.
Thanks.

i was able to browse to phpinfo.php but the http://localhost/cacti as well as http://localhost/cacti/index.php still display empty page.
i already re-check all the setting in PHP as well as the IIS according to the installing under windows guide (retrived from http://bsod2600.homecast.net/install_windows.html)
i attached here with the phpinfo.php and my system properties for your review.

php 5.2.1 has issues with iaspi, I suggest you update to php 5.2.3.
As for cacti, when you ran the installer, did you install it on the C drive or somewhere else? What about disabling antivirus?

using 1.5 installer
I have disable the antivirus while running the installer and the installer is running on C:. Will try to upgrade to php 5.2.3.
I got another question, as your 1.5 installer is per-configure for IIS, since i have Apache 2.0 installed on my "C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2 " can i use the Apache to host the cacti instead of IIS? and do i need to change the directory of the Apache to "C:\Apache 2"?
Is your installer machine specific b'cos for the same windows XP service pack 2 some of the users can get the cacti setup easily and running fine while mine is having problem? i just test your installer on my notebook before i can setup the cacti on my monitoring PC.
Anyway thanks for your help and advise.

The installer is NOT configured to work on Apache and it demands IIS is already installed, before it will proceed. If you want to use apache, then you're going to have to follow my installation guide.
No, the installer is not OS specific. It should work on Windows 2000 through 2003.
