i've got news about my problem:

today i deleted some of my rrd files (to solve another problem)
then the rrd files were immediately re-created (empty)

and then i looked at the cacti log
and i saw:

08/24/2006 04:10:53 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/bin/rrdtool update /usr/share/cacti/site/rra/switch_hp4108_packet_out_550.rrd --template packet_out 1156428602:0
08/24/2006 04:10:53 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] CACTI2RRD: /usr/bin/rrdtool update /usr/share/cacti/site/rra/switch_hp4108_packet_out_250.rrd --template packet_out 1156428602:518.39987694

cacti_log tell me that rrd files are updated
if i come to see these files i only see Nan
(and so the graph aren't traced)

the problem is why cacti_log tell me that it update rrd file as it don't do it

thks
