Sure. Do you want it in a graphical representation or simply as a figure under the graph? My choice would be just as a text based count of total routed so that it does not destroy the scale for the other items.

Fairly busy at the moment but I will look at it unless someone beats me to the punch !

Regards,

Raddy.

just simply as a figure under the graph would be GREAT

Thanks again

PS:
the mail template works on a balckberry server

Notes help

Post by rower »

Hi, I would like to get the mibs from a lotus notes using the net-snmp tool snmpwalk and then generate the graphs with rrdtool. Is there any special configuration on the notes or the snmp windows 2000 service?

thanks in advance.

Lovely, lovely, graphs.. Very easy to implement, now just have to persuade the Domino team to add load quryset to notes.ini
No longer a n00by, probably, by now an 0ldby

Now Head of Technology at RSCH, back to the prickly subject of Monitorring....

Hi,

Has anybody successfuly configured Lotus Notes SNMP Agent under Linux? I have read this:

http://www-12.lotus.com/ldd/doc/domino_ ... enDocument

but can't get any values with snmpwak or snmpget ... I think that lnsnmp script does not run properly or something .... is there any way to check if lotus notes snmp agent is actualy running or is there any log for this lotus notes snmp agent?

Hello :)

I just installed all the templates for Notes on my 0.8.7 server and it works.

But I have a problem on the graph template called Lotus Domino - Mail Delivery. It used a Data templates called Lotus Domino - Mail - Routed with the OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.334.72.1.1.4.4.0

On this graph there is a line with Mail Routed informations. When I look a this line I have, for example, Current: 53, Average:79 and Maximum: 107.

Or when I browse the MIB on my server with the OID I have 1057728. THis number is the real number of mail routed since the server started.

So, the questions are, why the value are not the same in the Mib than in the graph ? Is there something that change the value ? What is wrong ?

Hope you have understand my problem.

Many thanks for help and answers.

Best Regards
Lal :)

Salut L'alsacien,

From memory, and I will have to go back and check, the OID presents the Mail Routed in a counter.

In order for the graph to represent how many mail were routed since the last polling interval, the difference needs to be calculated between each interval and then adjusted to represent the figure in 5 minute intervals.

This is where the CDEF comes that I discussed in the original posts with the templates. I have not tried this in a 1 minute polling interval situation yet so I dont know what the impact will be but I think I could guess.

If you were to represent the actual value of the OID output you would end up with an ever increasing amount in your graph.

The figure of 1057728 you have in your post would be the total count since the start of the server. Recheck the value manually every minute or so and you should see it increasing.

I hope this is what you were after.

Hi Tipiaks,

Excuse my ignorance but what did you do to resolve this? Can you give me a step by step answer as I seem to have the same issue getting these to work for Domino 8.5 (and am new to Cacti).

I am running version 0.8.7d with the templates from this site for Mail traffic, replication etc... But the graphs do not display :-( I just get the red X with no image as shown in attachment. Interestingly the online user’s one is fine.

I have loaded quryset and lsnmp is running on the Domino box. What is the 'RRA LAST consolidation' though?

Thanks to all!
