Re: nmidWeb2 - Cacti Web 2.0 - v0.3 - 0.8.7g beta out now !
Hello, I have installed nmidweb2.0 on cacti 8.7e and the result was kind of unexpected, I am able to move the graph to any location but the "yellow bar" and "- &+" is not there. that means I can't open or close the graph. i have tested on different browser the result is the same. did i miss anything? or any idea might be? thanks in advance.

Re: nmidWeb2 - Cacti Web 2.0 - v0.3 - 0.8.7g beta out now !
thanks for your quick response. i will check if i can send the html source with my manager on the same time. I have found one device out of 400 device currently monitoring on cacti properly showing the yellow bar with +/- everything else none. this is very strange why it's working on one device. when I compare the html source between this one device everything else I have found this " url: "/cacti//plugins/nmidWeb2/updatedb_nmidWeb2.php?user_id=1&tree_id=266&leaf_id=-1", the leaf id is "-1" on all device but on the device display the yellow bar is " url: "/cacti//plugins/nmidWeb2/updatedb_nmidWeb2.php?user_id=1&tree_id=266&leaf_id=1762", not sure if this is a factor but the leaf id -1 on everything else but the one working has a leaf id.
thanks!!
thanks!!

this looks like you do not add graphs by using the "host" tree item. The nmidWeb2 plugin actually checks for the leaf-id to be positive as this is one of the primary keys for storing the user preferences into the database.
So in your case you probably would need to create some more sub-tree items..

Look at the attached screenshot.
Add some headings and add the host underneath them. I think adding the graphs under a heading should also work fine. The URLs should then have a leaf-id > 0 in them.

Thanks much! I didn't know that...actually this is an easy way to add the graph on the tree instead of using graphs method. I wish I knew that few month ago when I added thousands graphs this way good to know though.

Hello,
I've cacti 0.8.7g (Debian package)...
After I've extracted nmidWeb2 to /usr/share/cacti/site I get this errors on cacti website:
@console:
Notice: Undefined index: url_path in /usr/share/cacti/site/lib/html.php on line 757
@graphs:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function api_plugin_hook_function() in /usr/share/cacti/site/include/top_graph_header.php on line 28

This is the file which also contains the sql:
http://redmine.nmid-plugins.de/attachme ... s_087g.tgz
Though it's not really a plugin but more of an addon as it replaces several Cacti original files to get the AJAX/Portlet stuff working.

Oh yeah,
Do you have the Plugin Architecture installed ?
and do you have the following line in your config.php file:

I've added that code before and fixed problem with paths, but I don't think that I've "Plugin Architecture" installed... Because this was distro (Debian) build so no add-ons...phalek wrote:Oh yeah,

That's a problem then, as the replacement files are only available for Cacti installations which have PIA installed
