Has anybody made a traceroute graph?
I'm just getting back to using Cacti so I'm a bit fuzzy on how to create what I want. Is it possible to graph the results of a traceroute? Basically I want a graph like PingPlotter produces (http://pingplotter.com), except a horizontal graph would be fine.
Not sure rrd tools will even work this way, would be nice to have one line showing the most recent, then another showing an average

Traceroute trending...
All,
Couldn't you just use the following as input to cacti:
hop01:3 hop02:10 hop03:35 ... hopXY: 12
... where the values are the difference between each hop in the traceroute, and then graph all this as stacked? At least that would give a graphical overview of the variance of the hops, and further analysis would have to be supported by a manual or saved traceroute that shows the actual gateways involved.....
Greetings

Sure. But it will not produce that vertical graph you've shown us. AFAIK, rrdtool always will show horizontal graphs. And it will show the time series for the change of that data, in your case the inter-hop time.
