CPU Load Graph not correct

Post by schani »

Hello, i have a problem with the CPU Graph.

I start a tar process with a 1 hour duration. The CPU load (top) is in this hour not over 2.2 (2.2 | 2.1 | 2.1).

But cacti display a Load Average about 7-8 !

How is this Posible

Thanks for help

It is a mis-interpretation, not an error.
But, to be honest, the template is mis-leading right away. It is statcking things that should not be stacked. So you're kind of "adding" load of 15, 5 and 1 min. But that does not make sense. You may want to change the stacked graph to LINEx graphs to avoid confusion
