Try this. If on Linux/UNIX, use the following syntax "unzip -a manage_ajax.zip".

mcutting,
i am sorry to tell you that i don't understand why the snmp poller doesn't work for you
the error is probably in the function exec_background in manage_check.php
first, we have see that the parameters given to the function exec_background are correct.
2nd, we see in a simple php file that the exec function work for calling another php file
if we hardcod the parameters, it works...
can you :
1- delete cacti.log
2- set maximum logs
3- wait for a full cacti cycle
4- send me cacti.log (zippep) at gilles.boulon@free.fr
5- i don't have the result of phpinfo() so give me, it may help
thanks

Hi all,
I just downloaded and installed the .5.1, prior to that I was trying to run the version from SVN. MCutting was helping me on several issues I was having. After not being able to resolve all of them, we decided it would be be best to wait a week or two for new developments.
That's where I am today. I have installed the plugin as per the Install file. When I went to check my tables, here is what I received, as well as another issue when I try to create groups (which may be correlated to the DB issue).
Please let me know what you think

Gilles - What are you specifically looking for in the logs ? I am using the Manage poller, and not the Cacti one. I also tried the Manage plugin on a machine that didn't use WAMP, and got the same results.
I am wondering at this point if it's a PHP issue, although safe mode is not switched on - what do you think ?

hramirez - You need to drop all your tables that start with manage. Also, using the uninstall.sql file, remove manage components from the settings table.
Once you've done this, using the sql files to manually create each table in phpmyadmin. The issue that you have is that the plugin has not auto-created all of the tables.

Gilles - I'll post these sections of the logs as shown above, but I know that they all return as 1, and are graphed correctly as well.
I did have to apply the patch from mories to make this work (it wouldn't work without it). The WMI poller seems to work fine. Are you ready to release 0.5.2 ? I wouldn't mind testing for you.

sbala - Have you specified email addresses to send alerts to in Manage settings ? Does the email facility work in Thold ?
Can you post the output of a test email send in Thold ? Which PHP version ?
