cannot graph interface traffic with Version 0.8.6j

Post by memphisto »

hi i recently updated my cacti to Version 0.8.6j.
but know when i'm adding devices and tried to create graph for
the devices it always shown this messages on the Data Query [SNMP - Interface Statistics] box and Data Query [ucd/net - Get Monitored Partitions] box:

Code: Select all

This data query returned 0 rows, perhaps there was a problem executing this data query. You can run this data query in debug mode to get more information.
and one thing i noticed, at my cacti log i see a lot of these messages:

Code: Select all

the user for cacti database is root, so i assure you this is not permition / privileges issues.

this is frustrating me, before updated everything went fine.
Please help me with this issues

TIA

Please delete the storage Data Query from this host for testing purpose. Then, please select "Create Graphs for this Host" and post the screenshot. Do not forget to wipe out confidential information

I have a similar problem. All of my device data queries used to work fine but now any data queries shows 0 Items, 0 Rows

Here is an example of a Win2k3 device that is currently graphing CPU stats:

Code: Select all

2) SNMP - Get Processor Information (Verbose Query) Uptime Goes Backwards Success [0 Items, 0 Rows]
and when I do a Verbose Query (with names changed to protect the innocent):

Code: Select all

Data Query Debug Information

+ Running data query [9].
+ Found type = '6 '[script query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/srv/www/intel/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing script for list of indexes '/usr/bin/php -q /srv/www/intel/cacti/scripts/ss_host_cpu.php 192.168.1.61 91 1:161:500:public:::MD5::[None] index'
+ Executing script query '/usr/bin/php -q /srv/www/intel/cacti/scripts/ss_host_cpu.php 192.168.1.61 91 1:161:500:public:::MD5::[None] query index'
+ Found item [hrProcessorFrwID='0'] index: 0
+ Found data query XML file at '/srv/www/intel/cacti/resource/script_server/host_cpu.xml'

ok here we go,
but FYI i'm not sure what is "delete the storage Data Query".
but this what i did, i deleted the device and remove the rrd file from the box.
than i readded the device again.
and this is the result when i tried to create graphs from the device:

Image

i hope the steps is right...

1) Click the Cacti and show if you have php_snmp installed
2) Post the output of this command from a mysql window: "show tables;"

Look for issues with Checksums. You might want to run a "myisamchk". Or you may be missing a table. I am guessing it's just damaged.

This is what you get when you are working too many hours. The command is/or was supposed to be:

show table status;
