Monitor Virtual Interfaces

OK, i've got cacti up and running, monitoring multiple hosts and cisco devices fine.

Just one problem, how do i get it to monitor a virtual interface? THe virtual interface is located on the machine that runs cacti, the databse and snmpd.

Using CentOS 4.4
