Hi

do you want to graph an OpenBSD server, or install Cacti on an OpenBSD server ?

I want monitoring OpenBSD.

My server Cacti is on Linux SLES9 and work good

but, I don't have the good config for monitoring OpenBSD... I am searching

The same config "snmpd.conf" from Linux host can't the same on host OpenBSD
-> snmp information = snmp error

Hi

can you try with only this in snmpd.conf :

Code: Select all

rocommunity public
Also, are you sure Net-SNMP is running on your OpenBSD host ? Any firewall between Cacti and it ?

Can you add a device with the "ucd/net SNMP" host template ?

Exactly same error :
WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result:

But, I can obtain by verbose mode :
- SNMP - Interface Statistics Success [46 Items, 7 Rows]
- ucd/net - Get Monitored Partitions Success [3 Items, 3 Rows]

I have tested many Graph Template without success... :(

If I use the template "Unix - Processes", there is not warning.

I don't like those UNIX* templates. Personally, I prefer running those hosts with teh "ucd/net-snmp" Host Template. It uses snmp for data retrieval. Should work better even with BSD
