Installing Cacti

Hello,

I just installed cacti. Followed the instructions on the Documentation page. And when I try to start Cacti I get this error.

Warning: Failed opening '/var/www/html/cacti/index.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php:/var/www/html/cacti') in Unknown on line 0

Im stuck here, does anyone know whats going on? Any help will be appreciated.

You're going to have to play around with the include variable in your PHP.INI file


include_path="c:\php\includes;c:\www\cacti"

Yeah, I have tried entering the directory in multiple ways. I will continue to try ..

Just a thought - are you entering colons : or semicolons ; in your include statement ? Looks like the error message is spitting it back in colons.
