network devices from enterasys
Hello,
I need templates for several enterasys devices. We have following network devices from Enterasys/Cabletron: SSR8, SSR16, N3, E7 and E1.
I think I use the wrong templates in Cacti, bcause I only can control linux clients, or have I also an other problem? Is there anyone who has/had this problem?
Thank you very much for every help
Joerg

Here's some templates I've created for Enterasys E7 modules.
There's a Host Template, some data templates and graph templates that do CPU, Memory & Temperature as well as using the Generic SNMP Interface Template for interfaces.

You'll need to upgrade to this version to import them
What are you trying to graph??abrice wrote:Ah ok. I did this and am able to import it now. It just doesn't work with my Matrix C2. Does anyone have a template for this switch? I tried to make one but I'm not able to get it to work. I've tried using OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.16.1.1.1.5 but nothing is being graphed.
Enterasys SecureStacks don't give CPU usage data over SNMP. No chance.abrice wrote: Does anyone have a template for the Matrix C2 switch to view CPU and memory usage, network stats, port (or IP) bandwidth usage, etc.?
I have a workaround to get this data via telnet - but it's quick and dirty and not good enough to be published.
I tried the host template for Enterasys E7 but nothing is graphed into my cacti (with other device like Nortel Alteon and Cisco 3750 no problem).
I use the template for the Enterasys E7 with SNMP v1 because with SNMP v2c (the version that is used with E7) I'm not able to estabilish an SNMP data exchange.
Is that the problem?
Bye
