Weathermap 0.9pre1 - TEST RELEASE - READ THE POST!

Howie, I just got around to installing this today. One good thing that I noticed is the map seems to render faster in both the editor and Cacti, not sure if I'm going nuts on seeing that or not, but it just seems to.

I have three bugs for you though. The Legend Text does not seem to work properly in the editor. If you put nothing in that line and hit submit you'll get:

Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 0 in /var/www/html/plugins/weathermap/Weathermap.class.php on line 4155

and it will put "Traffic Load" in the Legend, if you open Map Properties again and hit submit, you'll only see a T appear on the Traffic Legend, even though it shows "Traffic Load" in the box.

OK. That will probably be to do with named scales. I thought I had found all of those.

Second buggie: In the previous version I didn't have borders around my node labels. I don't recall how I turned them off, but they were off. Now with this version they're back, and I really don't like them.

Hmm. You did it by doing LABELOUTLINECOLOR none, but I don't know why anything would have undone it...

Third: Map Size apparently doesn't work. I changed mine to 1024x768 and it reverted right back to 800x600. Map appears to be ok, and the correct size, but it just doesn't seem to keep it set.

OK. I'll take a look at that. You don't have a background image set, do you? Because that forces the map size to the image size.

Actually, I do have a background image, but now that you say that, I might not have that image set to 1024x768, I'll check on it.

Is there still a problem with the node outlines? I haven't seen this myself, and I've been moving up through test versions and editing maps with the editor...

I'm not sure how it happened, but I believe that the first time I loaded up my map in the new editor it removed the LABELOUTLINECOLOR and the LABELBGCOLOR lines from the NODE DEFAULT section. After re-reading your documentation I added those lines back in and everything is back to the way I had it before.

I'm wondering if it possibly removed them because they might have been in the wrong place in my config file, but I can't check it because I don't have a copy of it before I upgraded.

No big deal really, I'm the only one that looks at the map right now.

Just to let you know, starting April 2nd, the HMI/SCADA network is coming online, so I'll send you a copy of that map for your website once it's online. After that, I'll be linking 42 pump stations together via an MPLS network so that's another map, and after that will be the VoIP network.

Has anyone got 0.9pre1 working on a Windows Cacti install?

How about a 64-bit one?

I am starting to regret getting 64-bit Vista now... my test environment is screwy.
