problem with plugin syslogs

i had installed cacti ,it worked well! after i installed the plugin syslogs ,i can see it in cacti lab,but it can't work, it noted me that " Warning:mysql_pconnect()[function,mysql-pconnect]:Access denied for user 'cactiuser'@'localhost'(using password:YES) in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cacti/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 355"
