Help ! I am running a dev box under windows using wamp. Everything works great, but for some unkown reason, manage wont show services as up, euen though Jimmy's template shows them as running, which they are. Strange, as it works fine for localhost, but not for remote boxes. Is there a setting in php i have missed? Any help would be much appreciated ! Thanks

Ok. I gave up on Manage 0.4.2, as I can't seem to make it work. I thought I'd try the latest MANAGE from SVN. I have got this running (well, sort of), but have a few error messages, which I'm hoping either Gilles or TheWitness may be able to help with (or anyone else for that fact)

Note - Ignore the stats in my signature, as these are now out of date (I need to change these, I know). I am running on

Windows XP Professional, SP2 (test machine)
MySQL 5.0.27-community-nt
PHP Version 5.2.0
CMD.PHP Poller
Plugin Architecture 1.1
RRDTool - 1.2.15
SNMP - 5.2.1.2

UPDATE: 10:53am - Interestingly, the MANAGE POLLER seems to be working, although I don't see any hosts listed in the console. Also, the services are not showing as up (hmmm) - see below

Any help would be most appreciated !

PS - Gilles: I really like this plugin, and would love to have it working !

Some additional info.

I reverted back to Manage 0.4.2, and change the poller log to DEBUG. In the log:

MANAGE seems to be polling everything correctly, and there are no errors whatsoever in the log. The graphs show the services as being up, although MANAGE reports them as down. Interestingly enough, the services on LOCALHOST are working correctly ???

I'm banging my head against the wall with this one - any help would be much appreciated.

a group must be associated with a site (and only one)

verify your association in "Console -> Manage Groups"

Thanks for the info, however, if I try to add a group / site, I get "Validation Error"

Any ideas as to what this is ? Also, the poller seems to be running, but no network objects, servers etc are listed ?

Is this plugin ready for prime time yet ?

It's a PHP error, although it's displayed in the browser window. Nothing much of a screenshot to post - it just says "Validation Error"

it is a modification from the witness, related to security

i don't know why this happens

Ok - got it working - left a snippet of code that should have been deleted. However, I still get the MySQL errors when trying to manage a new host, so the screenshots in the earlier postings still apply.

This plugin looks fantastic, and I'd love to use it !!!

Ok - last bit (I think). On some hosts I want to manage, I get the following error

Notice: Undefined index: group in C:\wamp\www\Cacti\plugins\manage\manage_list.php on line 1030

Can you help ?

Also, the services are still showing as down, regardless of the graphs being up (patch applied as per mories)...I'm desperate to have this working - any assistance would be appreciated.
