Bandwidth Monitoring

hi i have set up the Cacti on my Linux box of CentOS .
and its working fine .Thold has also been set up onto different features of it .now i have one thing left behind which i am not able to find out an answer

here is a detail

i have set up thold on the bandwaidth utilization of Let say 80 % .now what happen is that even if it touche the 80 % for one sec . it generates a Alert E-mail and now what happen is that it touches the limit more than 50 times a day and every time an E-mail as a alert is triggered . and i have junks of e-mail in my support inbox .

My question is that is there any way out that i can make a THOLD in a way that when a traffic conitinues 5 mins at 80 % then it should trigger an E-mail or if it cross more than 20 times above 80 % in a day ONLY THEN IT SHOULD TRIGGER an alert rather than sending an alert every time .

There is a setting for this already.

Trigger Count
Number of consecutive times the data source must be in breach of the threshold for an alert to be raised.
Leave empty to use default value (Default: 1 cycles)
