Error message that cacti.sql did not import!

I get the following error, i have made sure that the database is set up correctly with phpMyAdmin, there cactidb is configured correctly it looks.

You have created a new database, but have not yet imported the 'cacti.sql' file. At the command line, execute the following to continue:

mysql -u cactiuser -p cacti < cacti.sql

This error may also be generated if the cacti database user does not have correct permissions on the cacti database. Please ensure that the cacti database user has the ability to SELECT, INSERT, DELETE, UPDATE, CREATE, ALTER, DROP, INDEX on the cacti database.

Update, just realized that there seems to be a problem that involves the tutorials, i used the pdf and the website's OFFICIAL tutorials, there two different names are used for the cacti database, cacti and cactidb. Will look into it. Maybe someone can change the tutorials?

You can name the database whatever you want. Double check your Cacti's include/config.php to tell it the database name, username and password you picked.

I did a yum install cacti,
followed http://www.cacti.net/downloads/docs/htm ... _unix.html
and now when i go to http://localhost/cacti i still get the same message.

phpMyAdmin sql previliges say this for cacti table:
cactiuser localhost database-specific ALL PRIVILEGES Yes
root localhost global ALL PRIVILEGES Yes
