*** SOLVED ***Monitoring the status of APs' radio interfaces

Post by bengelly »

Hi community,

I was wondering if it was possible to monitor the status of APs' radio interfaces using cacti and/or the actual plugins (for example monitor) ?

I would like to be alerted when one of my APs loses one of it's radio interfaces... I think it is possible because cacti can display this information (look at the capture below)... but I just can't find the correct OID in cisco MIBs...

Does anyone have any information concerning this matter ?

Thanks folks

You may want to try the ifup|ifdown template

search for interface status. It may work for you depending on the brand of AP

Hi,

I'm using Cisco Aironet 1130 and 1200 Series... Do you think it's possible ? Could you be more specific about the Ifup/Ifdown template ? Is it a graph, data or query template ? Where can I find it ?

Thanks
