problems monitoring HDs

Post by sambaloco40 »

Hi falks!

I am a new cacti user and I am facing some problems with my configuration. I will describe exatally what happend.

I am using cacti in my lab and I tauch some people how to use cacti. I created some templates, hosts and trees. In my "course" of cacti, everybody loged in as admin and start to remove and add hosts. We had create some graphs and some templates. So, no longer my staff could admin all features of cacti.

But, after it some problems appeared. After some cache reload's just one persists: whem I use Data Query - SNMP - Get Mounted Partitions, I can list all the partitions but not graph then bucause it returns zero all the time. Other Data Queries (as Get Interface Statistics) work fine but this.

I tried to restart my database, reinstalled it by default, looked the files, and logs. In my log I get this:

DEBUG: SQL Exec: "insert into poller_output (local_data_id,rrd_name,time,output) values (615,'proc','2007-02-13 10:38:54','115')"

The complet log file is attached.

When I execute the script on a terminal, I get the index, total and used space.

My version is 0.8.6h.

Thanks for help!

I suppose you've accidentally taken patches for 0.8.6j. Please review the path link at main cacti site carefully to find patches for 0.8.6 h

Yes, we had a bad version (rewrite) a few versions ago that caused issues with some OS'.

Is this related to the bug report I opened on bugs.cacti.net?

problem solved!!

Post by sambaloco40 »

Hi guys,

After some shots, I found out what was my problem: the folder name where cacti was (/usr/local/jboss-4.0.4.GA/server/ccim/deploy/ccim.war/cacti) had some diferent caracteres, as "-" and "." . So, when I changed it (/usr/local/jboss/server/ccim/deploy/ccim.war/cacti), everything gets normal again!

I would like to thank everybory who read my post and tried to help!
