How to add a script output field in a graph's COMMENT?

Post by fifsource »

I'm trying to graph the NTP offset from multiple servers for a a bunch of hosts.

I created a data input method with 3 output fields.
2 of them have Update RRD file ticked.
the third one, ntp_peer does NOT have Update RRD file ticked.

How do I display this field in a graph COMMENT?
I've tried:

Code: Select all

Peer: |query_ntp_peer|
but no substitution occurs.

Thanks for any clue.

If you can develop a patch, I will see to it that it makes it in the code base.

BTB, I thought it already worked, but only for Data Queries.
