[SOLVED] Problem with LABELBGCOLOR statement

Post by rasolama »

OK I have this in my config file:

NODE node1170778408
LABEL xxx.xxx.xxx
LABELOFFSET S
LABELBGCOLOR 255 255 255
LABELOUTLINECOLOR 0 0 0
INFOURL http://xxx.xxx.xxx/cacti/graph_view.php ... &tree_id=1&

But the graphic generates with just black text and now bgcolor box around it? Am I misunderstanding what this does?

You should be seeing the label in Black Text, with a whitebackground and a black box around it. I just tested it with my map and that's what it shows.

No you're not misunderstanding, that's what it should do :-) Is there anything in the log about unrecognised config lines? (or any other errors, come to that).

Do you have a DEFAULT node with 'LABELBGCOLOR none'? I wonder if the logic for defaults is funny when you are setting the LABELBGCOLOR back to the default-default (which is white)... then again, if it works for streaker69...
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Nope I'm not getting the background or outline - just the black text...

Here is the complete config:

If you have an image assigned to your nodes then you will not get the box around the name of the node. You'll only see the text. If you comment out your ICON from your config file and test it, you'll see what I mean.
