if the device type is coming back as 0, it is not being detected properly. Make sure you have both the sysObjectID_match and sysDescr_match fields setup properly for this device typs.

Hi guys,
yes, mactrack can track Cisco Aironet APs... For instance, I'm managing Aironet 1200 Series AP (IOS) along with Aironet 1130AG Series AP (IOS)...
the question now is:
What scanning function should I call when defining the device type ? Should I keep the "get_IOS_dot1dTpFdbEntry_ports" (which displays results) or should I change it with another one ?
If anyone can help, please post...
Thanks

Unfortunately, I was still working on Wireless support when I left my last job for a better opportunity. Therefore, I am uncertain which scanning function to use. Unless someone can give me access to a live one, I am afraid that I can't add support for it.

Hi The whitness,
sorry but I can't give you a live access to the network because I am not allowed to do that, I'd loose my job immediatly... but I can show you what it looks like...
As you can see on the screenshot, this works quite the same like with classical network devices (routers, switchs,...) and the results pop up instantly... I had to register my APs as switchs/routers since there is any other possibility...
Like I sais before, I used the "get_IOS_dot1dTpFdbEntry_ports" in scanning function but I didn't try the other functions like the "Generic Wireless Ports"...
If it is any help for you, please keep me posted... I'll do the same....
