Ok, understood. So, it would appear that .1.3 is more compatible. There are no winners in this game.

Is it likely that the next version will use .1.3 or something other than .1? I understand why .1 doesn't work on the PowerWare, but the Juniper I don't understand since it does generate a response.

I suppose, the "Downed Host Detection" has to be Device-dependant. This was already discussed in the past, but not yet implemented.
