.rrd files are being created but graphs are not being create

Post by trelane »

I am having an issue with Cacti where RRD is creating the .rrd files in the ./rra folder, but when I attempt to view the pages the graphs are not visible. I am not seeing any apache errors, and I am not seeing any images anywhere in the cacti directory. I've also been told that this is normal. I am attempting now to figure out where and how these images are being generated, and if they are being generated why they are not being displayed. Cacti is not outputting any errors to cacti.log, and adjusting the verbosity of reporting done by cacti doesn't seem to have any effect on the reports. Would anyone happen to know where the pretty pictures went?

Go into 'Graph Management', and find a graph that isn't working. Then click on 'Turn on Graph Debug Mode' in the top right. That will show you the rrdtool command that is executing to create the graph, and might clue you into why the graph isn't being created.
