mail functions

mail functions

hello,

is it possible to have mail functions in cacti, native or plugin ?

it seems that using mail functions from thold plugin v0.3.1 in manage plugin introduce a bug (function logger redeclared)

i now that i may have never use thold functions but there was there and i don't want to recode completly these functions in manage plugin

i think that separate mail functions from thold in another plugin is a good idea because these functions can be used by others plugins

0.9.0 will have a built in email function. As for 0.8.6, that is up to Jimmy.

Its currently on my list of things to do. There will be a separate mail / dns plugin (it will also contain a few other useful common functions).
