Dell PE 1950 - Open Manage

Post by chewymix »

Hi

On Dell 28xx series my cacti can monitor the open manage plugins on the server fine and get temps/fans etc. On the 29xx series it seems that the temp OID's have changed or something as all but 1 temp resding fail with the same plugin that works with the 28xx series.

Does anyone have plugins that work with 29xx series of Dell Power Edge boxes for monitoring temps?

thanks

The Dell PowerEdge x9xx series only have one temperature reading and it is ambient. Our Dell rep had no comment on the wisdom of that design decision. ;)

I'm attaching the template that I use for our 1950s and 2950s.
