hi,
i am trying to graph a line with the max values that an RRA have reached. For example, I have a graph showing PPP sessions on a Juniper BRAS-1440 and I want to create a line in the graph showing the maximum value of users. Is that possible? I have create a line2 in the graph, and give in the CF area, MAX, but no luck.
thanks

Check to make sure your RRD file contains the MAX RRA first. Then, you will only see the Max on the Weekly and above graphs. I used to use this all the time and it works like a charm. What people often forget is to include the MAX RRA in their RRD files.

I am not exactly sure what you mean "make sure your RRD file contains the MAX RRA". I have used the command rrdtool info <<filename.rra>> and it contained values for CF = "MAX". Also I use GPRINT to print the MAX users, and it seems to work, so I suppose the MAX is contained into the RRA. Please correct me if i am wrong. I am attaching a graph and a screen shot of the graph template.
Thanks in advance for your time,
