Load Average calculation

I get very different data for load average depending on if I use the "Unix" or "ucd/net" data set. The ucd/net version is what I would expect, compared to the output of /proc/loadavg on the snmp host. The Unix version is not even close. Can somebody explain to me the difference in these two tests or data sets? I believe I understand what system load is, I just don't know what the Unix test is scanning because what it's returning doesn't make sense to me.

I'm running version 0.8.6h on gentoo linux.

Hi

the "Unix ..." templates are only to be used with the local Cacti server.

For remote hosts, you have to use the "ucd/net ..." templates.
