output: 1.51132973885E+12 (+12 causing blank graphs?)

Hi,

I am polling McData switches using templates I have located on this forum. Most of the switch ports return data like output: 129976460272. The switch ports not generating graph data looks like output: 1.51132973885E+12.

I assume this has to do with the Data Source Type setting in the data template. If that is the case, what would be the correct value for the data source type?

Best I can tell is that the value is represented in scientific notation but the graph doesn't have a corresponding CDEF. Anyone setup a CDEF for scientific notation?

Please switch the poller to DEBUG mode for a single run and catch the rrdtool update statement for that very rrd file and post it. Don't forget to reset DEBUG mode
