Hi, will you please help me to solve the following problem:
I am monitoring some IР-addresses via Cacti and Monitor Plugin(there are also some graphs for these IPs - Ping). If the IP-address is
within the central router of an organization and the router of a regional office, all works perfectly. If host stops working, Cacti identifies this
and Monitor correctly displayes this event.
However, if the IP has one more router or is connected to PPP through Dial-up modems, then in case of loss of connection with/to such an
IP-address Cacti(and Monitor) cannot identify this(Status up)although everything is displayed correctly on the Ping graph (loss of packets
100%).
I use following hosts settings: Host template > None , Monitor Host >
ticked, SNMP Community > blank .
In Poller Host Availability Settings I specified the following options: Downed Host Detection > Ping - Faster Option with Risk, Ping Type > ICMP ping, Ping Timeout Value > 1000, Ping Retry Count 10.
Please tell how to make cacti display cyrillic symbols on the graphs?
