Im sure since that company stole Cisco IOS and then just changed a very small amount of things, you may just be able to use the Cisco Router stuff to pull lots of data from the router.

If you can't beat them, steal what they have, repackage it, rename it to your own and then release it to the world! hahah...

Why did SOHAILB have such a strange idea? How can a company stole a Cisco IOS to control hundreds of different products for different purposes without bugs? Can u? i know they have a lot of engineers from India, America and other countries. They have a joint factory with 3COM years ago.

Many companys clone hardware repackage the software. Many times it is the companys that are hired to make the original. Or a group hired to backward engineer an identical product but with a diffrent company label on it.

It happens at many levels sometimes just a look a like. sometimes it is so much the same the IOS will run on the other hardware. Why because it was engineered with the same board logic and hardware.

It happens. :o

Dear All,

I am unable to plot graphs for huawei router/switch CPU , Temperature, sub interfaces. I have tried the above template but no success. I have got MIB files from Huawei, anyone who have already done please guide. Thanks in advance.

Hi, im new in Cacti, i hope sombebody can help me.
Im trying to monitor the interface traffic of my Huawei Router.
I add the device and i can see the SNMP inf, then i select SNMP - Interface Statistics , and in when i click on Create Graphs for this Host i cant see any interface in the data query... and if i click on run this data query in debug mode i get a blank page.

Does anyone know what is happening? how can i solve it?

Some times i can see the Data Query Debug Information, but almost all the time i cant.

Do i need some special template?
