Dear community,
has someone made it possible to thresholding the free diskspace from windows machines without installing extra software like snmp helper?
It is possible to subtract the used from the overall diskspace and to insert this into the graph for the machine.
Could this also be possible for the threshold? Has someone an idea?
Best regards,
Peter

The standard free space graphs that comes with Cacti doesn't actually report free space. I added a new CDEF, Data Source, and modified the graph to do this. There is a link on this forum that details how to do this. have a search - if you can't find what you're looking for, let me know.

Thresholding free disk space from Windows machines?
Dear cigamit, does it report the free diskspace?
Dear mcutting, I added also a CDEF (cdef=a,b,-
) and added it to the graph. This works but it doesn't appear in Thresholds.
Could you please explain me a little bit more what you have done?
Sorry Peter
