Hello Fellow cacti users,
I've been using cacti for just about 3 weeks, and I've been impressed. Currently learned lots, and added many plugins (ntop, weathermap, monitor, etc...)
I must admit I've become somewhat 'addicted,' and since that, I've become somewhat reliant on it, to the point that when I come back the next day, I'll be asking myself, "why didn't I see that spike at noon yesterday?" realizing a minute later on my field notes that I jotted down that reason. See what I need?
Is it possible, to somehow add some kind of a change log, or notes, comments, etc.. to either each device, or graph, so that other users/admins upon seeing that 'spike' could view a log I would of added specifing the details of such?
I can't tell if I'm clear or if I sound confusing.
Anyways, it would make more sense if it was graph specific, because one of my core switches has over 180 ports, and that would be inconvinient. Also, as an added feature, depending on the zoom level, or time period of the graph, the text log (either via link, or displayed below the graph) would only show relevant logs from that time period.
Anyways, long story short, Cacti rocks!
