Total newbie question

Hello ppl, i just finished installing cacti, following the instructions posted on cacti.net

Everything seems to be working all right, mysql, php, etc. Had no problems at all.

The thing is that, when I go to http://server_ip/cacti or localhost/cacti
i get this message asking me wether i want to download a file named cacti which i assumed is an php file.

So, any clue of what should i do? Thank you all very much!

I assume, that your httpd's options for handling *.php files are wrong.
