[SOLVED] Feature request use of variables in limit values

Post by danwdoo »

Hello,
I think it would be useful to be able to put a query for upper and lower limits on graphs. For instance, when I graph a network interface I like the graph to scale to the actual speed of the interface (100mb or 10mb). That way at a glance I can see what is really busy for a whole page of graphs. If I could put a query instead of just a hard number value (I tired and it refused to accept anything but a number) into the upper limit field it would automatically do this for all the interfaces on the device which would be nice.

Thanks!

This feature was introduced a few versions ago and then taken out because of some issues.

Now it's back again. At least in current SVN, awaiting successful tests
