I checked the MIBDIRS env. var. and it is pointing to the correct path. c:\php\extras\mibs. I'm running php 5.05. I put the full file name with the .txt extension and still get the "cannot find module" message.

You must only include the file name. Double check hyphens vs. unlines as well... Also, verify case.

Ok, apparently it was case sensitive. Here is the screenshot of my results after following your directions correctly. The cacti log stills states that it is a Partial Result and I'm getting no output. What should I do next? As you can see there is still a blank line 2.

Haven't had a reply to this topic in a few days. Do you have any suggestions on how to remedy my issue?

Well, this is indicative of the OID not being returned correctly by net-snmp. Try using Cactid.

"kill's my whole setup" is somewhat non-technical description. Have you tried turning logging to medium, and then running:

cactid 0 4

When you do that, what happens?

OK, I got cactid working but it kills several of my .pl scripts (i.e. they return partial results now) that I run to gather snmp data from my Windows 2000 and Win 2003 servers. Hard Disk and SQL data queries. cactid gathers data according to my cacti log, including the PIX connection info but it doesn't seem to store the data in my RRAs properly because for the 20 minutes or so I ran it today instead of cmd.php I have a blank section in all my graphs. I just wonder why all queries can't work with both methods.

Right, if you are running cactid 0.8.6g, you need to change "perl" to "<path_perl>/perl" in you data input methods and the clear your poller cache. Otherwise use the new beta under Announcements and you won't have to do this.

Clearing the cache, fixing the perl paths and properly setting up cactid as per the directions got it working. I'm now running everything via cactid and it's working. For some reason the PIX connections graph isn't interpreting the right output but you've resolved my issue and I'll take up my graph issue somewhere else. Thanks Witness!!

I've recently made the switch to cactid (i version was a must for it to work on my platform I guess) and it appears to be working well. However, I'm having what sounds like the same issue with my firewall graphs. Their results are all "nan".

About to turn logging on but might look at upgrading cacti to match cactid first.

That's not a must, AFAIK. For Debugging, just see my link on "NaN Debugging"
