Broken graphs if traffic is over 800Mbps

Post by pinkpanther »

Hi, I'm having a strange problem. If the traffic is over 800Mbps, the graph is broken. See the attached graph.

I'm using cacti 0.8.6h on FreeBSD, with rrd tool 1.2.12_1.
Any ideas?

The data template have a maximum value field. Is your reading exceeding that?

"Use per-data Source Value" is checked, so I suppose the graph should follow the source value. Anyway, the source value in the field is set to 1,000,000.

This might help:

You can use rrdtool to check the rra file for readings or missing readings. Maybe run debug & check the logs to see if the readings are missing in the log as well.

Don't forget to turn off debug or the cacti log file will get very large over time.
