MacTrack:Friend or Rogue?

Post by streaker69 »

I just got MacTrack running this evening, great plugin. Got it configured on a 3Com SuperStack 3 and it seems to work great.

I was wondering if there's any plans to build in a Friendly MAC list? Maybe just a checkbox for every MAC that's found. Admin can check off to verify that it's a friendly machine and not some rogue device. Alerts could then be sent out if someone were to plug in a rogue device.

Could work similar to AirSnare.

Um.... I like this idea a lot. :)

Reminds me of some IDS systems I was looking at in the past.
