After 2 days of searching, i'm on the edge of giving up: is there any plugin / script that can create hosts and/or graphs in Cacti, from the command line or from any non-interactive place ?
Let me tell you why i'm needing it: I'm planning to deploy Cacti to graph some 700 "tc" classes (clients) on a bandwidth-management-server. I already have the interface for client management. I would like a new client to "automagically" show up in Cacti, and a removed client be also removed from Cacti. I do not want to manually add or remove a "device" and a graph, whenever I add or remove a client.
Besides, I don't trust the blonde secretary enough to give her the "admin" password
So, has anybody heard of such thing ? Or do I need to create one
