Does anyone know if its possible to do week over week graphing in cacti?
i.e. one graph item showing current time frame and another showing the previous weeks data.

In general, this is possible using the shift function introduced with rrdtool 1.2.x. At time of writing, this is not yet included with cacti.
Personally, I was thinking about how to intragrate this since months. But up to now, I've not yet done. Assuming, you have graphs with "some" ds in there, integrating in the same graph may give "weird" results. Of course, you may add an y-axis shift, but what about y-axis scaling, then? To my best, I'm assuming that showing two graphs, one above (or beneath) the other would be best. And this, of course, would not introduce any need for "rrdtool shift".
I suppose, that a tabular display (2 columns, shift between both being editable) would yield best results. But I would want to discuss this topic, if someone is interested in.
Perhaps, some patch would be the result
