hey guys
i have a data input method:
input type: script/command
input string: sh /blahblah/script.sh <returnvalue> |host_hostname|
shouldnt cacti fill in |host_hostname| with the hostname of the graph i append this to??
please help me as im trying to make my graph versital

Should be:
input string: sh /blahblah/script.sh <returnvalue> <hostname>
Then select "hostname" in Input Fields and type hostname under "Special Type Code" section.

Just hostname it shows some examples in the field next to it. I used the Unix ping as an example when I created my own templates.
