cactid binary

Post by viper99 »

I am trying to switch from cmd to cactid but I can not find the cactid binary on my system. I installed cactid from RPM so I assume the cactid binary would be in the RPM. Can someone point me to where the cactid binary would normally be when the RPM is installed or where can I get the cactid binary to put on my system for cacti-0.8.6h-1 install.

:-?

Thanks

It should be: /usr/bin/cactid

I have looked at all the packages and none of them have a cactid binary that I can find in them.
Here is a file list of the files installed from the RPM on the site and also the one I installed.

Will the package 0.8.6g work with the RPM 0.6.8h install?

Ok I compiled the cactid binary and installed it. But when I configure cacti to use cactid instead of cmd.php my graphs stop working. Is there a doc that explains how to switch over and the steps to take to get it working?

Thanks.
