How to Graph Modem usage Lucent MAX TNT

Post by nfawcett »

I am running cacti 0.8.3a and I need some help. I need to graph our TNT's modem usage. Does anyone know how to build a template to do this? Thanks

Hi,

That's an easy one ;-)
There are various SNMP OID's that you want to monitor. You could offcourse build a template if you want ;

Occupied LANMODEMS : enterprises.529.9.0
Occupied DS0 (64K channels) : enterprises.529.4.26.0

Basically, be carefull what you have in your TNT chassis.(type of cards etc) but the "occupied DS0" counter really represents any busy call indepedant of type (analoge,isdn,V.110,V.120 etc)

Do you have the TAOS MIB's to check what other OID's could be of use ? There are quite some interesting ones.
