Cactid Drop-outs with Solaris 8

Post by NetGeek »

Hello,
I just switched over from using cmp.php to cactid for faster polling. The speed and reduced CPU load of cactid are great!! However, I am getting drop-outs during the course of the day. Here is my enviroment:

OS: Solaris 8
Cacti: cacti-0.8.6h
PHP: PHP 4.3.0
MySQL: 4.0.21
RRDTool: RRDtool 1.2.11
Apache: apache_1.3.27
Cactid: cacti-cactid-0.8.6g

Here is a screen-shot of the drop-outs:

I turned on debuging for the Poller and here is the context when I see the drop-outs. They can be matched up to drop-outs on the graphs above:

You need to run with the latest Beta. It's an exciting build, but it resolves Solaris issues.

Ok,
I am game for trying the latest beta. Where do I find it and the latest build instructions? Would I use the download instructions for the SVN repository off the cactid section of the Website? I don't have Subversion installed at this time (I am using CVS for Rancid) so If there is another way, it would be preferred.

Thanks for help!
