Dear All,
I installed the CactiEZ application of the zero in another server .
I migrated the database and I see well all my graphs. But I have a problem. When wanting to create new host or folders shows to the following error Failed to Save That can be happening? After making several attempts to create new objects... I see in the part of graphs that dont lets me see the tree root structure , but it does not let see the top down levels . That it can be happening? I had to migrate once again the database to see the graphs in the tree structure but I verified that it does not let to me create new objects.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

Well if the time is correct, and your CPU isn't spiking, then yes, with the look of those graphs, it could possibly be a DOS attach. Do a tcpdump WHILE its crashing to see what traffic is coming in.
Are you sure that those TOP outputs are during the crashing? As your server isn't using a lick of CPU during the DOS, which doesn't sound right.

what networks are your iptables letting in? Are you doing any filtering above the Cacti Server?
For example: We are allowing only our networks to access port 443, not the rest of the world.
Can you tighten down your iptables to just your networks? This may reduce the chance of a DOS (reduce - not eliminate) as well as narrow down the trouble-shooting
Also, do you have the syslog plugin enabled? what is the output from the localhost?

Dear All ,
I found by Internet the following post. I am using the same system. My equipment is a IBM ThinkCentre A30 (8191 MYB). All the equipment that I used is equal. I updated Flash BIOS of the equipment... but it follows the problem .
Can exist some type of incompatibility of Linux with this hardware ?? No longer I know that it can be happening and it is affecting to me seriously in the company: (

Subject Date/Time problems on an IBM Desktop ? (P4-2.8ghz)
I'm testing the 2.4.27 kernel on an IBM ThinkCentre A30 Desktop. The
system has a P4 2.8Ghz processor, 512 Megs of ram and IDE disk. The
clock on the system is very much off. Using the "/bin/date" command
it seems to actually count 1 second for every 10 or so. Under load
this can be even slower. I've reproduced this on 3 separate pieces of
hardware.
Has anyone run into this or have an idea? My next step is to try an
older kernel with the same config but that may take a bit to get built
and tested.

Dear All,
I returned to install from zero the CactiEZ in a new server. I import the database in where I have everything configured and soon wanted to generate a new folder and it leaves this error to me:
So that it can be passing this?
Thanks.
