SNMP trap info with graph display

Post by bonbon »

Heres a sample of some work I've done on displaying cisco trap information with associated interfaces.

It required some hacks to the graph viewing code since no hook exists in the plugin arch for this type of modification.

Is this of interest to anyone?

Also, I'd like to incorporate the ability to automatically add a graph to cacti as soon as a new interface is detected on a router, can anyone point me to a method to do this through SQL or other means?

Of very much interest. Anything you can share on this is appreciated (noting that I'm a relative newbie just walking in to an incumbent cacti-using envirionment).

Thanks!

Tell me where you need the hooks, and I can make it happen (a patch is best).

Also, the auto-add datasource/graph for newly detected interfaces is in the works already.
